R1 with color A: ch 2, 8 sc in second ch from hook, slst to first st (8 sc)
R2: draw loop up to height of puff stitch: puff in same st, ch 3, (puff st, ch 3) in each st around, slst on top of beginning puff stitch - 8 ch-3 sp. Fasten of color A.
R3: attach color B. with RS facing, join B in any ch 3-space, 1 sc, *fpsc around post of the next puff st, 3 sc in next ch 3 space, repeat from* around, ending with 2 sc in beg ch 3 space, slst in first sc - 8 fpsc, 24 sc
R4: slst into fpsc, ch 1, sc in same st, ch 5, skip 3 sc, *sc in next fpsc, ch 5, sk next 3 st, repeat from* around, join with a slst in first sc - 8 ch-5sp
R5: working behind each ch-5 and in unworked sc on R4, slst into next sc, ch 3 (counts as dc), dc in each of next 2 sc, ch 8, *dc in each of next 3 sc, ch 8, repeat from* around, join with a slst on top of beg ch 3 - 8 ch lps. Fasten off color B.
R6: attach color C in in any ch-8 sp from R5, (1 sc, 5 dc, ch 2, 5 dc, sc) in same sp, repeat in each ch-5 sp round, join with slst in first sc - 8 shells
R7: ch 1, sc in each of first 5 dc, *(2 sc, picot, sc) in next ch-2 sp, sc in each of next 5 dc, slst in each of next 2 sc*, sc in each of next 3 dc, repeat from* around, join with a slst in first sc - 8 picots
R8: attach color B yarn at any ch-5 space of R5, 1 sc, *ch 2, dc in ch-5 sp, ch 1, fpsc together the two unworked sc of round 6, ch 1, dc in ch-5, ch 2, fpsc around the sc of round 3, repeat from *around slst to first dc. -8 shells
Fasten off Color B.
R9: attach Color D at the back loop of the second sc from the tip of any petals of round 7.
2sc, 2 hdc, dc2tog, *5 dc, skip sc, (3 dc) into the back bump of the next sc behind the picot, skip sc, and make 4 dc, dc2tog, 2 dc, 1 hdc, 2 sc, ch 2, skip sc, picot and sc, 2 sc, 2 hdc, dc2tog, repeat from* around. End with ch 2 and slst to first sc. Fasten off Color D. - 4 corners and 4 ch-2 sides
R10: attach Color E at one of the corners in the middle dc. ch 1, (3 dc) in corner, *6 dc, 3 hdc, 2 sc, 2 slst in chains, 2 sc, 3 hdc, 6 dc, (3 dc) in corner, repeat from * around. Slst to first dc.
R11: ch 2, & (3 dc) in same st, *4 dc, dc2tog, (5 dc, dc2tog) x2, 4 dc, dc2tog, 3 dc in corner, repeat from * around. End with slst to first dc.
